Venue Review: Adaumont Farms

krs_adaumont_bridge_3335We simply love working at Adaumont Farm.  Rolling hills and plush green meadows on the outside; stunning interiors, high ceilings, elegant draping and chandeliers on the inside; there’s no wonder Adaumont is the perfect place for celebrating special occasions. I think Adaumont says it best: “It’s a blend of rustic elegance and city chic.” Of course, I can write about it all day long, but you should really see it for yourself. Words don’t even begin to describe.

One of the best things about the venue is the location. Nestled between Highpoint, Asheboro, Lexington, and about 40 minutes outside of downtown Greensboro, it’s the perfect central spot for out of town family and friends.

Perfect for Weddings or corporate events, the property rental allows clients all day access beginning at 9am up until 12 midnight. Access includes, exclusive use of the barn which houses the reception area, multiple kitchens, a mezzanine, and group seating areas with comfortable sofas, stalls with intimate seating, restrooms and a stage. In total, the barn is nearly 25,000 square feet of country chic decor built around a central reception and entertainment area.

Adaumont’s outside amenities include access to the lakeside pergola, covered bridge, pastures, bridal suite, to name a few.

The lodging includes a bedroom with a floor length mirror, tall hanging rack for dresses, a large private bathroom with multiple sinks and mirrors, and a separate lounge area with comfortable seating.  It’s the ideal space for getting ready for the big day.  For the guys, the groom lodge is nearly 1200 indoor/outdoor space. The amenities include comfortable seating, a kitchenette for beverages, a full private bathroom and a covered Pavilion.  This space is perfect for a groom and his best mates to relax and unwind before saying, I Do.

J.H. Adams Inn

Exquisite interiors, attention to detail, outstanding comfort,
and gracious hospitality are central to our heritage at the
J.H. Adams Inn.

This uncompromising legacy dates back to 1918 when John Hampton and Elizabeth Adams built the home of their dreams…a sumptuous Italian Renaissance styled mansion that now serves as the heart of our Inn. Here the Adams welcomed guests and entertained in true Southern style.

The couple demanded the highest quality and latest amenities for their home, making a stay at the mansion a memorable experience. Upon entering the stately home, visitors marveled at the grand staircase, richly carved moldings, marble fireplace, beautiful wood floors and elegantly furnished rooms.

While the surroundings impressed even the most well traveled
guests, it was the warmth and gracious hospitality of their hosts that people remembered.

The J.H. Adams Inn is a vigilant caretaker of this wonderful legacy. Our guests can choose from 31 uniquely designed rooms and suites, guaranteed to meet the exacting standards of John and Elizabeth.

Luxury abounds…Egyptian Cotton linens, premium Sealy mattress, plush robes, lavish bathrooms, and elegantly decorated rooms…no two are alike.

In keeping with tradition, the latest and most convenient amenities welcome each guest…high-speed Internet access, electronic wake-up calls, fitness studio, and rooms for private meetings.
